Four Days Away!
I really can't believe it. We're only 4 days away from the 2010 Hip Hop Karaoke Championship. Wow.
I can't even imagine what's going through the contestants minds. The rehearsals, the amount of times they've recited their verses, the friends and the family that are excited to see it all, etc!
We're really excited too. We've worked for months now to put together a really great show -- and I think it will be. If you haven't already, buy some damn tickets. You won't regret it!

Panicking. (continues to recite lyrics in bathrooms, nj transit and 2 trains to the Bronx, restaurants and any other place I can talk to myself and not be noticed) Back to learning these two songs. Yikes.
Still reciting lyrics from willets-point shea stadium to 42nd street. Planet Fitness gym on 125the street on the elliptical machines.

....how the hell can I make my teammates better by talking about practice.
I'm a theater dude, so I don't practice. I rehearse.
the energy on that first round is going to be bananas. everyone's bringin their AAA-game. at this point, i'm less concerned about the lyrics and more concerned about running out of breath to recite them properly. that's the rub. but yeah, mad heads look at me on the street, in the subway, saying "who is this guy talking to himself". but can't say I care. i love to rhyme :)
people don't notice the talking to yourself part when you're naked. works well for me. i recommend trying.
