in that case i may need to do a documentary-esqe compliation that chronciles the full extent of his illustrious career - all the way through and including his appearance on Hit Me Baby One More Time.

I'm going to bring it Canadian-style in a crucial way: I want some Snow, and I want that ish Saturday night. I will "Inform" you all as to how it is done.

If that's not possible, I'll settle for some Maestro Fresh Wes. "Let Your Backbone Slide". Or Dream Warriors. I'll wash y'all's face in my sink.

Ok, ok. Bryan Adams. I'll do "Cuts Like A Knife" or something.

ok, wow.

i want it noted that i was posting with sarcasm this entire time.

what these fools have done (and said) is not capable of even being computed in my super hip hop elitist brain. :o)

to answer all of your "do you have *insert guilty pleasure song here*?"

the answer is...

ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY!?!

ha...

sincerly yours,

boom-bap party pooper.

On the real, my selection this Saturday night will be notable less for its verbal complexity than for the way it'll put mad smiles on mad faces. Not ironic smiles, either: genuine, good-times smiles. And though it's not Wu, it does have some of its own special jargon. That's all I'm revealing.

"Anonymous said... Serato, hmmm... that's a shame. Kinda liked the old vinyl vibe."

no, my friend... the shame was my back feeling like a 50 year old man from constantly carrying those records around. not to mention paying for cabs to carry them from queens and back at 3am. but so you all know... serato uses real vinyl. and the tracks are made from the original vinyl instrumentals. so essentially, nothing is different for you at all. still two turntables & a mixer.

I love that you're using Serato. More possibilities for finding instrumentals in mp3 format, no?
