Urb Magazine looks at the history of HHK NYC

New, Diggedy, and I sat down (at our computers) and talked (emailed) with URB Magazine about the history of Hip Hop Karaoke NYC.

and don't listen to Diggedy, my GI Joe themed b-day parties were the shit. check it out:

"Hip Hop Karaoke :: An oral history of NYC’s rapper’s fantasy camp"

at this point it would be a bad move to move away from the name hip hop karaoke. you're building a brand, basically giving newfound meaning to the literal identification of "hip hop karaoke". trademark lawyers refer to this as "acquired distinctiveness". throwing that away at this point in exchange for a name that is less "karaoke" would be a bad move.

that advice was free, anything further requires that you pay me a retainer.
