Thank You!

a B.I.G. thank you to everyone who came out last night to HHK!!

we had a packed house full of people who were there to have a good time, pay respect to Biggie Smalls, and turn the party out.

also, a giant thank you to the man, the legend, one of my favorite emcee's of all time: O.C., who came out and rocked with us. and thank you to Elizabeth, who helped introduce O.C... word... life.

we hope to have the photos up on the site this week - so definitely check back for those.

we'll also have some video clips to share - so check for those too.

as for the next edition of HHK - we should have an April date locked down shortly (i'm hoping by Monday), so yes, check back for that too.

thanks to all of you. we wouldn't still be doing this if it weren't for you.

sorry, that sounded like a weird HHK acceptance speech.

Word! Great show fellas.

By the way, I left kinda early, and I heard a rumour that someone who looked a lot like me (but without my coordination or sense of diction) got up 2nd last and farted all over "Woo Hah!" in a drunken catastrophic mess. If you see this clown, point him out to me -- I want to bless his ass, hit him with a direct blow.

That same day, Rap City did a special B.I.G. tribute show and had other emcees rapping his songs. In a very karaoke-esque way. Talib Kweli did "Hypnotize" and Fabolous did "Big Poppa." Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

That was the best time I had on stage, by far. As much as I like those pics, they don't even begin to capture the ridiculousness of that performance. In my opinion, that moment defined what HHK is all about for me.

And yeah. . . Diggs. . . that is also my favorite picture. . . with the one of you in the "I give up" pose coming a close second.

I'm back from the ATL where i found out there's a parkway named after Bobby B.! And it seems i missed some ridiculousness this weekend. I think I need a more indepth recap.

Welcome back Kev!!

There's a Bobby Brown Parkway?!?!? That's just too funny to me. Now. . . if you cleanup a roadway named after yourself. . . does that still count towards your community service? Hmmmm. . .

And I have to agree with K-dot, I've never had so much fun onstage as I did this time around. Shout out to the Superfriendz who made this all possible....
