the next edition of Hip Hop Karaoke is going to be in Brooklyn, at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

it's a special one, for a couple of reasons.

one, it's going to be an early Sunday night show, with signup at 7pm, show at 8pm. i think that's cool, personally. it'll have a laid-back in the cut, sunday night cold chillin type of vibe. you know.

the venue is brand new and beautiful. if you've ever been to the bowery ballroom, it looks just like that, but newer. it's totally FREE, as usual.

two, at THIS edition of HHK, you can actually MAKE some money.

here's the deal-

the first 10 performers to tackle a song by a BROOKLYN emcee are automatically entered into a contest to win $200 cash. the cash goes to who we, the HHK team, think delivered the best performance.

so, what happens if you're not THE best?

well, then you have a shot at the $50 second place prize.

sign-up and performance order is still first come, first served. the winners get announced at the end of the night.
